SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 2

Raising a committee to inform the Governor that the Legislature is organized.

Resolved by the Senate:
That a committee of three on the part of the Senate, to join with a committee on the part of the House of Delegates, be appointed by the President to notify His Excellency, the Governor, that the Legislature has assembled in regular session and organized by the election of officers as required by the Constitution; is ready with a quorum of each house present to proceed with the business of this session, and to receive any communication or message he may desire to present.
